The Coming Crisis in 2015-2018

William Stickevers, Theodore White, and several other astrologers agree that a world crisis is coming within just the next few years, but sounding the siren isn’t enough. People need to know as many of the details about this crisis as we can - especially what, when, and where it hits, and how normal folk can best position themselves to ride it out.

Now, different nations will have differing experiences during this crisis, and those distinctions can be seen in their national charts. But the outer planet transits will reflect some universal conditions that transcend national boundaries.

Much of the astrological community today is focused on the long-term Uranus-Pluto square (2012-2015) and its derivatives (2011-2021), and to be sure, these will bring the crisis. But alongside these is another outer-planet square that will especially exasperate the Uranus-Pluto era, bringing out its very worst qualities while it is in effect - a Saturn-Neptune square (and its derivatives) that occurs in 2015-2016.

When these two outer-planet alignments overlap in 2015-2016 is when the crisis will strike its hardest and most dramatic shots. Everything before that is just foreplay, and everything afterward is just mop-up. But during those two years, conditions will make their most dramatic declines, and conditions are likely to persist at those levels for a couple more years afterwards before seeing any meaningful recovery.

The Saturn-Neptune square will bring both physical shortages and also a deep emotional malaise. Hope will be at a premium in 2015-2016, while doubt, discouragement, and disappointment will be ubiquitous. All things related to Saturn and Neptune run the risk of being in short supply during this period. Salt, medicine, and social services are certainly all on that list. But Saturn will be in Sagittarius, and that means that law enforcement will be strained, inadequate, faulty, in short supply, and exceedingly harsh in its actions at the time as well. Neptune is in Pisces, and that means that oil, gasoline, and medicine are all likely to suffer shortages at this time. It also promises trouble with illegal drugs, raising the specter of both drug gang wars and also bad drugs on the street. As Neptune also rules water, both flooding and contamination of water supplies are also issues of possible concern for this period, which reminds us that Japan’s Fukushima cleanup is currently at some risk of a large radiation release that would come towards the US if it entered the atmosphere. Finally, a Sagittarius Saturn in square to a Pisces Neptune warns of a time of grave lies, and of grave lies being exposed. During this period, the media will surely not be a reliable and honest source of information.
